The docs move into the app, and every reply says how it ended.
The Big-AGI docs and changelog now open inside the app, read live from big-agi.com. Each reply carries one outcome - completed, out of tokens, failed or stopped - and Chat, Beam and Call all read it. This release also fixes a Next.js 15.5 minifier bug that broke outcome reporting in builds from main.
Docs and What's New
- Docs reader: the big-agi.com docs in a window, with contents tree and search; docs links in the app open there
- What's New: the big-agi.com changelog, with what is new since your last visit
- Self-hosters can disable both at build time with
NEXT_PUBLIC_BIG_AGI_REMOTE_FEEDS=off; the app then never contacts big-agi.com on its own
Outcomes
- Replies that ran out of tokens are marked apart from failures, in Chat and Beam (#1217)
- One outcome per message drives the color and label in every view; an unknown stop reason no longer marks a reply failed
- Call speaks replies that ran out of tokens; a failed image caption is reported as an error instead of being stored as the description
Next.js 15.5 Minifier
- The SWC minifier in Next.js 15.5 dropped code after some switch shapes, so production builds reported finished replies as unfinished: Call stayed silent (#1267) and Vertex AI links were not resolved (#1270). Reported and fixed by @SergeyAblaev in #1268. The 2.1.2 release does not contain the affected code.
- A lint rule rejects the known miscompiled shapes;
tools/develop/swc-minify-check re-tests them after a Next.js upgrade
